While I'm deciding what to do about pistons, I thought I would inquire about the rear cross member isolator. By the discussions I have seen, it is hard to come by. RockAuto lists it, but it is not correct. The original part number is 2460-888.
The one on the car had been covered in oil and is still somewhat pliable without cracks, but I would feel better if it was replaced. It's 60 years old.
Any leads would be appreciated.
