That's odd because it makes no sense from a manufacturing standpoint and would add cost. A whole seperate roof stamping and a different piece of glass for the same car.

I agree. Especially since the "Canadian" roofline was featured in a US brochure. I'm still investigating this.

The pictures Stan posted definitely appears to be 2 distinct different roof lines. Weren't all of these cars manufactured at the same plant?

Thats better..thank you.....

I killed half an hour Googling for just the right pictures JUST FOR YOU!
You're welcome.

Chryslers assembled in the U.S. shared the same two door roof line with the Plymouths and the Dodges (see pic of the blue car in previous post).

Gawd knows why Canadian assembled Chryslers, whether for their home market or for the U.S. market had their own roof line (see pic of green car in previous post).

I'm guessing no U.S. assembled cars went to Canada but WTF do I know....
Ma Mopar was weird back then.

Nothing they did back then would make economical sense today.
Look at the B-bodies. There were two completely different stampings for the cowl between A/C and non-A/C cars.
Cowls are probably the most costly stampings to tool up for....

Would love to see what you can dig up. I'm finding this extremely intriguing.
I want to be a ball breaking judge at a national event some day.
"AHA! Your roof line doesn't correspond with your VIN!!!! Minus 50 points!!!" :rolling:

I very seriously doubt it but that's only because I can't see any difference. May or may not be though.

True but the B-body cowls were much more numerous and were used for like 5 years or so.
