Hey all, I picked up a bunch of disc brake parts for my '66, among them is what I hope is the correct disc brake Bendix booster. The gentleman I purchased it from says it was from a '66 Fury, and the price was right so I took a chance.

I understand it needs to be rebuilt. What do you all think? Winner? Or dud?

It looks like a drum brake booster to me. The Bendix disc brake booster protrudes a lot farther out. Hopefully someone can post a photo of what you need.

That is a single diaphragm Bendix booster, used as an OEM unit starting about '70 with drum brakes. Also widely used as an aftermarket replacement for the Midland-Ross single clamp booster.

Finally! I found the elusive Bendix booster! I pulled it out of a 1968 VIP this afternoon. Hopefully it's not too crusty that it can't be rebuilt.
