Finally decided enough dilly-dallying and dragged my Fury out of its storage spot, getting ready to tear into it.

Once it was out of its home, I turned my focus to the new (not really) 440 I had in storage, so I saved that from its mothball hell and brought it back to the house

440 got cleaned and semi-stripped and over the course of about 2 days I had the 383 boat anchor out

(i do hope this post will be formatted correctly, im new to forum stuff)

Next on the list was swapping the mounts and dropping it in.. more or less

which brings us to today, small finicky adjustments needing to be made to actually get the darn thing to sit right

Feel free to drop any tips and stuff, im not super new to this but theres always something new to learn, especially since im a young fella whos way out of his zone (used to be an import kid haha)

440 can be just as much of a "boat anchor" as a 383, just more powerful, usually.

Enjoy!

At least that long screw is in the repairable area of the tread!

heh, mitsubishi, honda, toyota or nissan? had an 89 cressida that I manual swapped. That alone made it so much fun to drive it was unreal. Figure if my 67 Fury's gearbox blows up I'll manual swap that too lol.
