66 monaco 2 dr. rear window regulators

Hi Everybody..
My rear windows are stuck up...the regulators need rebuild..how do I get them out
when the windows are up and I cant crank them down?
Any Ideas?

On my 66 newport either the windows had slipped past the up stop not letting them down or someone reinstalled the stops below the catch. Just something I ran into

Take off the armrest and trim panel to see what's binding. The rollers could be misshaped or broken, probably haven't seen lubrication in decades.

the interior is completely stripped...
there doesn't seem to be any obstruction.

I would try unbolting them and ease the glass down with them.
