Nice color. Clean looking. Sure wouldn't mind a look underneath and a closer look at just beneath that rear window...

Wow. Nice car. No underside pics on the site. But the Turbine Red color is amazing. Looks original. Engine compartment looks pretty good, although I'm guessing by the fuel line and the routing of the PCV line that it may not be the original carb.

I like the 8 track and audiovox FM to AM receiver. That's cool.

Looks like a fair market price for a car in this condition. Interior looks really good and all original.

Love these Town Sedans, handsome color, nicely optioned too. I'm no expert on dual snorkels, but they were not likely a standard New Yorker option, and if so, I THINK the snorkels were round as opposed to oval shaped?

At 114K I'd want an extensive test drive/eval. before buying. Still, it looks terrific all around.

Thats a lot of car for the money. Pretty much what id like to have when the times comes to trade in my 69.
It looks like the rear window has rust issues and good call to the OP on spoting that.
Of course id like to see bottom side but even with that window rust, a car not butchered or taken apart is what Id want

440 came with the dual snorkel air cleaner, but the tubes should be round. Optional on all Chryslers in '66.

That is not Turbine Bronze. Paint code Q is "Spanish Red" metallic, which is the same colour as my dad's Windsor.

1966 NYer came standard with a 350hp 440 with single snorkel air cleaner. 440 TNT at 365hp was an optional engine for all 1966 Chryslers. And as you said, the tubes should be round. Also, there should not be a breather tube fitting on a 1966 air cleaner unless it was ordered in California with the Cleaner Air Package. From what I can see, it looks like the PCV valve has been incorrectly plumbed into the breather tube fitting on the air cleaner.

The cruise control system is not factory, may have been swapped-in from a later model year Chrysler. The unit doesn't look right, and controls on the turn signal stalk are not correct for 1966.

The air cleaners with the oval snorkels fit the Holley 4bbl with the 5.125" diameter opening. The single snorkel for the 350hp and the dual for the TNT.

The air cleaners with the dual round snorkels fit the smaller necked AFB. Pie tins also do not fit the round snorkel air cleaners. The AVS used in '69 and up had the larger 5.125" neck like the Holley 4bbl.

There is a nice red ‘66 2dr NY sitting at the Dodge dealer in Albany, MN as well. I stopped and took pictures of it a few years ago and posted, but can’t find it now. It wasn’t there last summer but is back again. Very clean underneath. From what I got from a text from the Salesman was that it was the owners car that he traded in from a long time customer. Looked pretty all original and excellent shape.

Got any info on the place... maybe someone here might want to pick it up. Although I suspect they'll want and arm and a leg for it.

Albany Dodge, Albany MN.
I still can’t find the original sales post I did with pictures a couple of summers ago. I think the salesman said he wanted around 15K.

By the chatter on that thread, seems to point to this being a fairly original, if not all original car...aside from the side view mirrors. Lol.

Yes I thought it was beautiful. If the mirrors were not original they must have fit in the original holes LOL
