Any 66 Polara owners that have installed extra switches/electrical accessories in their car? I need some ideas to shamelessly rip off for inspiration as I'm trying to figure out how to add a hold-button high beam, and windscreen washer switch, but just getting stumped as to how to make it look nice-ish at a minimum. Don't really want to drill through the shiny chrome strip on these.

Cheers

Make the horn button your hold-button high-beam.

Put a switch somewhere out of sight where you can reach it under the dashboard that selects whether your horn button is for the horn or the high-beam. For those drives where you know you'll be wanting to operate the high-beam, flip the switch to that position. The floor high-beam switch can stay there, and continue to work as intended regardless how the horn switch is set.

Regarding the washer switch - the '66 Monaco / Polara didn't have that? Was it still a foot-operated pump for that year?

It probably was but my foot switch for that is busted and I've already got an electric one installed.
