For sale is a 1967 Dodge Polara 2 door hard top. The engine is a great running 383, with Offy 4 barrel intake and new Edelbrock 600 carb, new plug wires, recent hi volume oil pump, water pump, and distributor w/ Petronix ignition conversion (no points). The transmission is a 727 which shifts well. There is a minor drip from the front of the trans pan when sitting a while (days), but nothing severe. New brake shoes in front and back and wheel cylinders. The body is fairly straight and rust free. The trunk pan has some suface rust from a leaky trunk weather stripping, but no cancer. The trunk weatherstrip is $18. A few bubbles can be found on the lower right quarter panel, but that's it. Currently the body is in primer (although a bit faded and peely in spots) and needs paint to be beautiful. Or keep it as is for the rat rod type of look. Tires are 215/70/14s with dog dish caps on steel wheels and tires are near new. After market tach, oil pressure, and voltmeter found inside as well. Speedometer works great, along with temp gauge, dash lighting. Fuel gauge works sporadically, but is likely due to dirty contacts on back of gauge cluster. All glass, except windshield (which is cracked) is ok. Onto the interior, where a bunch of work as just been done. The power front seat (which still works great) has just been reupholstered black, and brand new carpet and headliner were put in. Over 1200 dollars in work. The back seat is dyed black from previous owner. Door panels are ok, and left door needs panel. All and all, fairly comfy interior for a cruiser.
This is a great car for someone who is looking to finish up this great running project of a harder to find Mopar C body. Handles great, stops well, and runs strong. Title is clear and in my name and reg is paid until December.
