Yep, had to replace one of those a few years ago on my Fury. Easily got a replacement at NAPA.

They often start leaking and IMHO, a lot of rear seals have been replaced unnecessarily because of them dribbling oil down around the bellhousing.

I bought my sending unit socket from the local parts store abt a thousand years ago. It's a Blackhawk Tools item. They were very reasonable high quality tools.

I recall using a regular 6 pt hex socket. They leak because there is an internal rubber seal which gets old. Since ~40 psig, even a pinhole leak can make a spray. The port is a 1/8 NPT pipe thread (same for most after-market senders). That sender is a simple switch in my 65 Newport. If you want to add a pressure gage in parallel, put a tee in the port for both.
