Here’s my 67 fury III I just got last summer it’ll my first classic c- body. It’s a 383 with ac, power steering. A real big head turner in Colorado. I am in the process of putting a 3.23 sure grip in it this summer, can’t wait till it warms up.

It is indeed QQ1, my stepfather messed up in the video though. It is Electric Blue Poly not Medium Metallic

This is my 68 Fury III Formal Roof Hardtop. It has the G code 383, automatic, A/C & power bench seat. I have owned this car since 1982. The color is Yellow Gold (code HH1) and was repainted during the winter of 84-85. The carpet, vinyl top, & front seat were redone 12 years ago. The back seat is original & perfect. The engine has never been apart and the car has 124,000 miles on it. My dad bought a used 68 Fury in 1971 from the dealership my Fury is parked in front of. I was only 8 years old at the time but very impressionable. View attachment 72836 View attachment 72837

I didn't realize you've had your car since 82...that's awesome. Did you drive that around on those salty BP streets in the winter? You must have kept it tucked away...or was it rustproofed by someone like Elias in Bridgeville/Kirwin Heights...?

Luke: You originally from Bridgeville ? Elias was the best in the area when he did a car he had as much rustproofing on himself as the car when he was done.

No Luke, my Fury has never seen a Pittsburgh winter. It came up from NC and the lady put it up for sale as she bought a brand new Mercury Lynx. My dad graciously let me park it in our 1 car garage the first winter and I either walked or drove his Volare wagon. I worked at the Exxon station in Carrick, less than a mile away so the walk wasn't bad. (I didn't move to Bethel Park until 2005) All of the winters thereafter I had a rented garage and drove a winter beater, usually another C-body. My first nice daily driver was a '77 Cordoba I bought in '86. I remember Elias rustproofing well, he really laid it on thick. You simply cannot keep a car nice and rust free driving though the salt and calcium chloride covered roads here in the winter.

Looks like they’re all in solid condition. Last one really nice.

He must really dig the 2 dr coupes

The 1967 Sport Fury convertible factory 383 Hi-Po "H" code is getting diassembled and ready to go for a restoration in a week or 2. I will make a resto thread soon, hopefully tomorrow or Sunday. Stay tuned.....

Nope not mine. I'm only into the 1968 year and have only owned 4 1968 Fury's through till about the mid 80's when I junked my last one survivor.
Back in the early 70's I never saw many 65, 66, or 67's either on the road, in boneyards, or in the for sale AD's, I don't know what it was, the area I was living in and the economic conditions? Most mid 60's and on up cars that people bought we muscle cars and that was mostly GM cars. Friend of mine when I was 15 years old bought a used 1965 Chevy Impala convertible 396 4bbl HiPo (checkered flags on air cleaner) 4 speed for I take it very reasonable dollars as all I can remember is that he had a low paying broom pushing job at some factory. Then there were the Chevelle crowd, GTO's (never saw that friend much after he got that stick car & new girlfriend) LOL, 'Maro's that would want to race you at every stoplight, Firebirds, Hurst 442 (daddy bought the car). The Mustang people were a little more sensible to deal with and I had a very good & dear friend (RIP) that was SCCA regional champ with his very low number 1965 Shelby. Oh and vette owners were idiots back then too.

My stepfathers '67 Sport Fury convertible factory Hi-Po 383 4bbl, the car as mentioned above will be going to get restored in about a week or 2. These pictures were printed from the for sale ad back in 2003 when my stepdad bought the car.....

I picked up my 68 Sport Fury a year after in June of 2004. When I was a kid my parents bought a 67 Fury III 4 door sedan new and that was my mom's car when I got my permit in 1973. The 68 dash is virtually identical to the 67 dash so I feel like a kid again every time I hop in mine. I owned a Superbird for 21 years but still came back to the C body when I wanted a car my kids and I could enjoy. I can't find my pictures from 2004 but here is the most recent, taken April 18th up in the little Gold Rush town of Coulterville outside of Yosemite.
