67 new yorker 4dr hartop rear screen seal

Hi there,

Where is recommended for a new seal for the large rear glass? Herbs have it but it seals over twice the cost of the front seal.
I'm down here in NZ so would like to find a better deal than $280usd plus shipping. will end up costing me about 800 nzd

Any help be very much appreciated.

Cost differences between the front and rear windshield seals will happen. Mainly due to sales volume. The rear seal leaks will not be found nearly as quickly as they don't leak on one's feet or carpet where it can be seen.

Is your seal split or cracked? Just curious.

Im not too concerned about the cost, it is what it is. However, if i can find a cheaper place to get it from, that would be great!


It is not leaking, but it is old and hardened. We need to remove the glass to do some rust repairs that are close to the screen/seal area. As mentioned before, its really hard to get c body parts especially down the bottom of the world, so cutting the seal to make the glass removal process easier and less risk of breaking it, is a much preferred method in my books.
