Why is a slant 6 dodge, or Chrysler c body ok for Canada but usually not built in the states?

Take the dash. That rear defroster switch is Identical to the 1970 Roadrunner air grabber switch, just has to be painted red.

In 1967, a Monaco or Polara even Fury for that matter could be ordered with a 225/6. The VIN would have "c" or "e" in the fifth character.

I have seen the /6 engine in quite a few C-body Furys. I knew somebody who had one. I've also seen a couple of Dodge C-Bodies with them, but never a Chrysler. I would be very surprised if they ever built Chrysler C-Bodies with them.

The point is, I am still waiting for anybody to show me a Dodge with a /6 for the U.S.
market. That's all I'm asking.

Curious, No E exists in any Mopar books after 66', and then it was a 318. B or C for a slant. Maybe mistook C for E, 67' Fury taxicab came with a slant, which is an Important source for a slant six 727 transmission, A very rare piece. Some police cars as well. If you find any 318 transmission from a Police car, it has the same internals as a 340. 68 up.
