Since I got my 300 the idea of a front disc swap has always been in back of my mind.. I know that it’s pretty straightforward with parts from a 69-73 Plymouth Dodge or Chrysler. But I was wondering if I could use the hydraulic parts (calipers, booster/master cylinder, proportioning valve and brake pedal assembly) from my 73 imperial parts car? And source spindles/rotors from another 69-73 c-body? I can’t think of a reason why this wouldn’t work other than the calipers maybe not working with the non imperial spindles.

If your 300 is console shift, the booster should/may work, if it will bolt into the space. I'm assuming it's the same booster that would be on any 73 Cbody and not bigger in diameter because it's on an Imperial, even tho they were a unibody Cbody after 1966.

The bigger single diaphragm disc boosters interfere with the column shift linkage.

Calipers and pads are the same part#'s for 73 Imperial and Newport so you should be good to go there.

As long as your 300 has power brakes, no need to change the pedal.

Your 300 is drum brakes I assume?

Rockauto shows a Part# for a 73 Newport brake booster, but not for a 73 Imperial.

That may or may not mean something. Pull your Imperial one and see what if anything is different.

Thank you! You’ve provided me with a good starting point.
Yep drums all the way around.. Also sadly not a console shift car it’s a pretty much a no option car with the exception of AC.

Your Imperial should have a dual diaphragm booster, so that will swap in fine.

You won't be able to use the pedal assembly. You may be able to swap the Imperial pedal onto the 300 pedal support. The only way to know would be to try it.
