I see where you are coming from. My point is, for $25K, I wouldn't expect to treat the seats, paint the trunk or detail the engine bay. All of that should be done for $25K

We all agree that the likeliness of him getting 25K for the car is pretty slim. But it is his car. He dosent sound like he's really in touch with the car hobby or their market values, just that he has the only one on his block so it must be rare and valuable. The cook at the waffle House told him it was worth 25K.
If a serious buyer steps up and he really want's to sell the car, I think a decent price will be agreed upon.
But .... If I had deep enough pockets, I like the car enough to pay somewhere near the price.
