They probably removed the 440 and put in a “new” 318.

Probably true. Take that 440 and stuff it in a "tribute" E-body somewhere. That nonsense makes me ill.

If money wasn’t a factor, it would be satisfying to buy an E body to take the big block out and put it back in a C body.

The person who put the ad is not the owner. Here's what she told me.
Front seat just the picture. Engine was replaced. You can talk with the owner about all of this if you come over and see it. You can take it for a drive if you want to.
She did send me pictures of the engine. Appears to be a 383 2bbl.

The main thing stopping me is we're going on a trip from AZ to FL in two weeks. A trip to CO would be hard to pull off. Bad timing.
