I recently got a 68 Plymouth fury 3 and the tail lights will trun on when I turn the lights on and the turn signals work on both side. But, the brake lights only work on the passenger side and not the driverside. I've changed out the fuses and cleaned the connectors. Could it be a bad connection in the fuse box? Or a bad connection somewhere else? Any ideas what it could be?

Turn signal switch is my bet.

Is your turn signal arm going back to center after a turn? My car was having that issue when I made at turn, my signal light arm was hanging up and not being cancelled all the way. May or may not be your problem.

It does not, I have to move the arm back to turn the signal off.

Also, the outer most lights on both sides don't work. Not sure if they are brake lights or running lights.

I'd check the grounds first. Lot's of odd problems can be contributed to bad grounds. Easy check involving minimum time and expense.

Easy to check, connect a wire to a known, good ground and touch the other end to the light housing/bulb socket. Alligator clips and a length of wire are all you need... Actually, you don't even need alligator clips, but you can make a test wire for your toolbox.
