I am going to be replacing the A/C compressor on my wagon after it locked up. I was thinking of replacing the rubber lines while i was at it does anyone know where i can get mine rebuilt. Not interested in updating the system want to keep it stock as from the factory. I have a compressor already that i bought from Mr. Fury in NC.

Thanks for the imput. System had a leak somewhere , I am having the Evaporator checked out by Radiator shop now, Pulled all the lines flushed them out they are not originals as no part #'s on them they look in good condtion. .Will replace the Drier & Expansion valve reassemble system flush system again do a vacuum test, recharge the system hopefully be good to go.

While the lines were off i stripped the paint off the muffler hard lines & repainted them so engine bay will look a little better now.
I talked to a guy at a recent cruise suggested sending lines to Old Air Products in Tx to be rebuilt i wasn't comfortable sending them that far if they got lost or damaged in-transit would be impossible to find new ones. Got to put the new compressor on this weekend.

Check around at a local "larger" auto supplyh that can do hydraulic hoses to see if they can get the correct fittings you'll need. I'm suspecting that what Old Air Prod would build would be R-134a hoses and not R12 hoses?

Look for the posts of "Tx Don" for the kit he got to redo his Dodge Monaco Wagon with. All DIY. Not expensive, either.

You want R134A compatible hoses (and O rings) when making or buying new for sure.

Old hoses are well seasoned and typically do not leak, except at fittings and crimps if strained.

If the old hoses look good, use them again.
