Nope. Not good enough. That's why none of us here are dealers. We don't have the stomach for it. We worship the cars. The dealers treat it as a commodity and see it as who can hustle the fastest...

You REALLY like that car.....? Enough to let $500.00 keep you from it....? Just on a principal....? I don't think anyone here would hold it against you if you went for it, no matter HOW cheap they are......

I can't chastise Mark for letting 500 bucks make the deal not happen. I've walked away from cars for 500 bucks. My reasoning is that if I can't justify even a few bucks more, I really don't NEED that car. I only would like to have it. Letting a relatively paltry sum come between us has saved me a ton of money and a lot of regrets.
That car was not "the one". The best example of this is Dave's dad's car. That car was the one.
