Are the 69 and 70 interchangeable? If they are that would be a great improvement over mine.

not sure. i know it will fit, but some years had trim on the passenger side.

I am told they are different. I. Was also told a company will be making reproduction down the road.

They mount the same... The 70 / 71 dash has the indent.... Various trim levels got the wood trim....

Apparently some early models got the 69 pad installed into the 70s

They look a tad different but mount exactly the same. I know first hand as I had a 69 & 70 Sport fury side by side to swap out.

I would just wait for Bob Baker to complete the 70-71 pad and have it available for sale. I understand it is only a few months or less from being ready to sell:

But the used 69 would be a lot cheaper and mount the same, but you never know how much life is left in a used pad. I think the new one from Bob would be around $800, but that is still almost half the price of a Just Dashes redo that won't look all that good to my eyes.

Interesting to hear that the early 1970s did have the 1969 pad installed from the factory. I don't recall Chrysler ever having done that on other models and years when the pads themselves appeared a different on the passenger side. I guess they were running late on the 70 model pad availability when production cranked up then.

The picture of the 71 dash with the black interior looks like a 69 dash with the 71 model label attached. I do not see an indent.

What evidence do you have of that? I have never seen a 69 pad in a 70 model. They are very different.

I have no pictures of the car, but my uncle ordered a 70 Sport Fury. It had the same dash pad as my fathers 69 Sport Fury, it also came with the same hupcaps. You are not the first person to dispute the dash pad or the hubcaps. I have seen order 70 models with the 69 dash pad and the hubcaps. The order was placed in September.

I might be interested, as a backup for my '69 Fury convertible. Any idea what it might cost to package and ship to Dallas, TX...rough ballpark? Just trying to get an idea of total cost, to determine if I can swing it.

i'll see what i can figure out for you. thanks, jim

due to the length of the package (6 ft) it will be $200-$250 depending on final weight to ship to your location through ups or fed ex to your door. if you are near a greyhound express location, it will be about $80.
