My causin and I have been working on my 69 Fury for over a year on and off now. This is not going to be a show car just a driver or ratty muscle car with paint.

Started with a rolling chassis no motor or trans. Put in a 400 with a 727. Originally a 318 car. Got it running and driving with all new brakes.

Original vinyl roof car rusted out the rear and front window trough, and trunk floor.
We replaced the window trough with new metal and cut out a trunk floor from a parts car.

Just finished up doing all of the other rust repair. Home made lower 1/4 panels and front fender rust.

Getting it ready for the first primer coat soon.

The last photo is why it will be a ratty c-body.

More updates, just sprayed epoxy primer and some high build on the Fury.

Will be starting to block sand this week and if all goes well paint the next week.

Im glad your saving a Fury II. I've only seen one other one.
This may seem nuts--but if you are considering getting rid of the front seat upholstry let me know! Ive got a 1970 Fury I cop car that had that exact pattern and 'chocolate brownish color and I can find it anywhere including SMS.
thanks

I have one. It’s a year older, though.
