'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

Last night I went over to Andy's (Angel's previous owner) he's been following my progress, I'm the only friend he has that his wife likes, Andy mentioned something that was true, it's sort of the end of an era..........Angel is moving......I finally have a space of my own....I've got a steady girlfriend........it was a sad realization for us to come to over a few beers....

Spent last night at my girlfriends and this morning I headed off to tend to some business, I headed over to my uncle's, logging chains in the bed of Rocky and his receiver in, I had a Plymouth to move. I'm going to miss the backyard, it seems weird to say but after nearly 2 years I will. GEDC0063.jpgGEDC0054.jpgGEDC0055.jpgGEDC0056.jpgGEDC0057.jpgGEDC0060.jpgGEDC0061.jpgGEDC0062.jpg

Anyway, we're packed, and Angel is ready to rock, my buddy is bringing the flatbed in the morning, so I'm off to the girlfriends again.

I think most of us have been thru what you're going thru Nick. Things changed for me when we bought our first house. Full acre (for storage :) with a 2 1/2 car garage way in the back where I could bang away and not disturb the queen B. I also keep my coonhound in the back. Thats my man cave. No tv. Just loud obnoxious tunes with the buzz of a welder or banging of the hammer. Plus an occasional F-BOMB. It's just me, my red dog and my boy toys. Life is great...

This is reality. Not that crap on TV.
You are doing well, lad. Very well.

Thanks Stan, it's been a long run, but life has a way of working out for me, when it rains it pours as my grandpa would say (sometimes it pours good, other times bad).

Hurry up...
I didn't see your lazy carcass helping me today ;)

I'm already enjoying my cave!

Loaded my Cheyenne with Angel's bits last night, then headed to my girl's, she let me park my beast in her garage with her car.

Tossed and turned all night, Luckily my girl is a heavy sleeper, I had a Plymouth on my mind.........woke up a bit late and have been on the run since. My buddy was right on time, we loaded and we hit the road. We unloaded, my mom made us lunch, I slipped some green backs in Nate's pocket and he headed home, I unloaded all the parts I hauled. Spent a while setting things up and loading the lofts, still not done, but I was tired as hell and it was getting late in the day and I still had to get home for work tomorrow.

When we got home, grandpa was ready to head to bed, I hugged him and thanked him for giving me the space for my Plymouth, he said "Don't thank me, it's our home son"

Looks good Nick. I just buzzed off my hair also. Much cooler.
Yeah I hate having long hair. Prefer a buzz cut.
AND YOU HAVE YOUR C BODY SHIRT ON...........:yaayy:
Dave, I represent the C Body community as much and as well as I can, this weekend I'll be wearing both C Body shirts to the track/show.

My Girl wouldn't let me take her picture the one night she put my C Body Rag top shirt on........but oh well I saw it :D

Congrats on the new digs, great looking space and a fine looking girl!

I have zero interest in your boudoir affairs. It would ruin the image...

I know, your the most fun to bust your balls.

For yourself of course.... in fact a photo of her in just the shirt could keep you going on long days.. I would expect it from Stan also, but for different reasons
I have Her picture on my tool box, it does keep me going some days.

Congrats on the new digs, great looking space and a fine looking girl!
Thanks Matt, it's something, And yes she's Very fine looking, I'm a lucky guy.
