They even pick the correct wall plug for you.... what if you live in America but love Europe so much you installed all European plugs......
A common scam I see, especially in Electronics, is an item that usually goes for, as an example, $250.00, on ebay for a Buy It Now for $50 and shipping for $150.

Ebay picked up on that also. They now take a percentage of the shipping. Their shipping calculator really inflates the shipping cost for that reason.
The few ad's I place on ebay now are listed "local pick up" and I post the shipping cost in the ad. It sometimes confuses the "follow the rule monkeys" ( it always amazes me how many folks don't or can't read desciptions but just buy based on the pictures), most buyers catch on.
Good tip, Will. Thanks.
I was wondering why my ebay fees were so high.
I just finished selling some things on ebay for the first time ever in the US, I will be curious to see what the fees are since i gave em free shipping.Check your account for fee's paid. It will show how much ebay takes from the shipping charges.
It's not easy keeping a step ahead of ebay. I've been registered there since 98, when it was a great site and have watched it slide down into the present "corporate" site that it is, which in no way will support the seller in any disputes. Their hard *** ways have cost them dearly, and they don't even realize it.
I no longer feel any remorse in using the site as a way to expose my items to the largest possible audience, ending twelve hours early and dealing directly with serious buyers. There are still ways to communicate through the "cracks".
