The six pack engine and four speed are cool as hell. Unfortunately the poor color choice will only appeal to very few. This is what happens when you personalize rather than staying with original color scheme. It's a shame that it will be so poorly recieved after all that effort. :(

The work on the car looks good and can appreciate all the effort someone put in. He either opened his check book and put that much in a car that when sold wont give it all back or he built it himself and is hoping for a sucker to give him a big payday.

I just wonder what motivated him to start with a Newport.....
Work obviously done by professional. That's the only way he got to 90K .

Forget the down payment on a house. He'll be using that big trunk to haul furniture.

I think most people think c-body is c-body. They dont care what car they build, Newport, 300, New Yorker all same.

Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder. I will side with Slantsix on the choice of colour. I'm just not sure of the compatibility of the interior blue.

The guy writes checks for $90k+ but still needs to "personalize" it with a cupla 9-balls from PepBoys hanging off the mirror.

I think that is just sell talk, no way any1 would use 90k for C-body.
For 90k you could find project Hemi and make profit with that.

I'm curious which insurance company agreed with him on appraisal

Im still wondering if that's a stock 69 Newport steering wheel. Ive seen it a few other times (ex. the Sports Grain for sale) and I think it's pretty snazzy...

Very cool ! Better to modify a Newport than a NewYorker or 300. To be honest although the running gear is straight out of a Mopar Muscle magazine it is probably very close to what I would use on any build if the fun coupons allowed it.
Now, I agree with 67-Fury that the colour is a bit fresh and the wheels could be a whole lot better. I would also loose the 'T' bar shifter knob and finish the additional gauges off a bit better.
Overall a neat build, even if the price is very optimistic :)

I like the color. The interior color doesn't really work with it.

Looks to have been done well for about 90% of the car and a little cheesy here and there for the last 10%. That makes me think it was mostly done by a pro and the owner did stuff like the radio in the glove bx and the vacuum gauge.

Note the straight shackles.... Hmmm....

too bad I would guess a totally uneducated car person has to go to that extreme if true to build a car these days and then get ripped off so badly. He was duped by many,,or he duped himself...
