This reminded that I need to own a 70 Fury someday.

At the end of that ad am I reading that SFGTs were available only with 3.23 and 2.76 or were not available in those two ratios? I can't quite make it out.

Ironwolf thanks for the informative and entertaining posts. Those ads are fabulous. Just out of curiosity were SF GTs available with the stripes deleted?

I don't know first hand but would imagine that you could order it that way, Back in the days I guess you could pick & choose to add or delete just about anything and making your car essentially a one of one factory ordered car. I had an uncle who worked for a small Buick dealer in Boston and told me of many factory ordered cars with some really weird options that were factory ordered not factory installed but then dealer installed.
