Is it just me or do you guys think this is a good deal? If it was on the left side of the country I'd buy it to drive.

Sharp cars, both with color combos that aren't surprising.

Been watching the green one for a couple of months. It started out at $4500, but then it sold last month for $2750. Buyer must have flaked out. I think it's worth the money as a solid driver, but it will need some work. There is a video of it somewhere, sounds like it needs an exhaust.

He says in the ad that the exhaust leak has been fixed.

There's much better suited parts cars out there so we don't become the same vultures we hate so much that rape and pillage our C bodies for their B & E projects.

Agreed.

BTW, how many of these '70 Chrysler 300 4 doors are left??? Not many. I know most of you guys don't appreciate these more doors, but someday you're going to realize they are all gone... Or are more valuable than 2 doors, since so few survived. ;)

I sincerely hope this one will find a good home...

Exactly! 4 doors never used to interest me too much but now I like them. Not as "sporty" for sure but they do have a "classy" look. Especially 4dr hard tops. I might be a little biased because it's mine but I don't think my 66 NY'er 4dr looks bad at all.

See, I told you he would agree!

I haven't found another one one yet! No worries, I've no more money and no more room. This one has such nice sheet metal and drive line though.

BTW, I love the mid-'60 4 door 300's and Fury, very classy indeed. Fusies, not so much.

both show enough rust to scare me away

Faint of heart?:busted:

As azblackhemi said, these could be great daily drivers with little effort.

In time, I have learned to like all c-body hardtops. First fuselages, then formals and now slabs too. I'm glad there's a big bunch of us c-body guys with different tastes though. I hope that guarantees all of these styles will survive...

last one I purchased with a little rust had no rear frame rails

You can buy frame rails.....correct. It's funny - for a place that loves cars and wishes they could get them some of you are way too choosy. Half the pleasure of restoring is the effort (at least it is for me).

I am finding that out and I am 55 years old....to me there is nothing than taking something that some say can't be done and DOING it.

The car is 45 years old.....again what does anyone what......perfection?? Not for the vast majority of these cars at this stage of the game unless you are Jay Leno

With all of the cars that are going away to the crusher that could be saved that is a pity.

Yeah there are cars that can't be saved-those 2 IMHO are not in that category.

But somebody will buy them and strip them or derby them or what have you.
