Plymouth: Fury

Fit and finish is all wrong. Bad (quick) body work, strange front bumper fit, something odd about the hood, Ford blue motor, hacked interior panels, no trim to break up the sea of black, hubcaps, Backwards '69 air cleaner, wrong mirrors.....

Well. . . Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln. . .

70 with 71 grill....round mirrors are a lead that it's a 70.....71s had rectangular mirrors......is all l can see on phone

It's a 35 hundred dollar looker for a retiree that doesn't know much to bring the grandkids to Dairy Queen and to get thumbs up everywhere it goes. Then in two years he'll buy a '69 Chevelle.

If it runs dependably and be bought for under $4k it would be a fun cruiser.
I had a 71 hidden headlight system and a Ford color on the body and the only time it sucked was when the crowd body loyalist got near it. If anyone bought to enjoy and not take it to shows they might enjoy it

No, I couldn't enjoy it. A car that hasn't been touched and needs work is ok. A car that has been done but everything looks bad or wrong is not.

The interior panels and the headrests are bugging me

I noticed the fit and finish, but good eye on those other specifics!

Not to mention there were no '71 convertibles other than Challengers and Barracudas.

If one were to buy that car and take to any show and park it beside any one of your cars they will have a horrible day. If bought right the grill, headrests and panels are pretty easy and affordable. It will never be a show car it satisfy the true c body purist, but taken for what it is and driven and fixed as the budget would allow, fun car

looks clean underneath. the front valance is mangled. it looks like the doors were covered over the old upholstery judging by the lumps and bumps.

anybody surprised at the high bid this Fury got? Or, perhaps the bid was "doctored?"
