anybody surprised at the high bid this Fury got? Or, perhaps the bid was "doctored?"

$6100? Not surprised at all. I'm happy to see it. All the things that bug me may not bother the next guy, I wouldn't go that high on it though

The red dash pad and kick panels need to go away.

Yeah, I agree , so wrong for the car but easily replaced by correct pieces.the whole interior is overbearing to me.
But 6 k for a convertible is a more than fair price, especially if it's solid.....

Well that was a let down

Fit and finish is all wrong. Bad (quick) body work, strange front bumper fit, something odd about the hood, Ford blue motor, hacked interior panels, no trim to break up the sea of black, hubcaps, Backwards '69 air cleaner, wrong mirrors.....

No, I couldn't enjoy it. A car that hasn't been touched and needs work is ok. A car that has been done but everything looks bad or wrong is not.

The interior panels and the headrests are bugging me

No...it would bug me....I like modified...not that way
