70 fury vert fumes in cockpit

went thru the whole exhaust engine to tail tips.
held rags over tips, nothing leaking.
top up with windows closed.
get afixiated.
trunk seal? maybe?
need vents open to breath

I had the trunk seal issue myself.
Another contributing factor is where does the exhaust exit? Before the axle? Or before the rear bumper or after?
Striaght out or turn down?

Fumes can accumulate behind rear bumper if pipes are too short. Then they fill the trunk and then passenger compartment.
Annoying problem. Hope you find the trouble!

Same problem with my car. Possibly the trunk seal has compressed too much with age.

changed the trunk seal, seams to have gone away.
