looks like an orig white interior car (even though none exist according to the info we have) Other than that, it's a hodge podge, ext color is teal, trunk lid underneath is brunt orange, trunk flr has soem green and underside of hood is green, so who knows wth color it was factory.

the lack of underside pic and the cond of the qtrs and mold on the one door panel makes me think there is plenty of rust on the undercarriage. that car sold yesterday from the cleveland craigslist, asking price was 3000 obo.

we will see if we can get a pic of the tag, would like to see Dave's head blow off if the car was indeed a wht bucket car. :poke:

it has the flr shift column, so unless someone went through all that trouble.........

Just got back home, thanks for the heads up Fred. I went hunting for this car early on the net today and found it. I have an e mail to the seller...........

First, its not a white interior car, look at it close, it was dyed. Black top with a white interior? Dont think so. The rear frame rails are rusty and bad. Look at the fire wall, the rust bubbles. Fred, remember the car on the side of the road at Carlisle? This car is worse than that one.

The trunk lid on this car is k5, the hood is another color, the trunk floor is green.....The tag looks like it only has three or four lines on it, its a low optioned car.

I still need to know and I'll let you guys know if he gets back to me.

explain why the interior looks dyed.......i don't see enough detail in any of the pics to discern that

The scratch marks on the seats, the white over spray on the jambs. Believe me, I want it to be a white interior car, no way it is though.

I have been wrong before though, lets hope this time too.........

And don't forget to add one of these men's handbags to make the picture complete.

I suspect you are correct. I missed the dye telltales first time around, but this pic is the giveaway. Note the white overspray along the top of the backrest:

However, look at the flip side - this is the much-desired rear speaker cover and it appears in good shape!

Dyed or otherwise, those look like '71 seats to me.
