My dad had a Polara in the 80's that almost looks exactly like that one but for the color, ours was yellow w/ black top, we called it the "family truckster" b/c of its sheer size. Memories....

it's not so much the amt of doors for me - it's the pillar between the frt and rear doors........a 4 dr htp would be nicer, imo.

of course, this is a pristine 440 car

There was a time in my life when I said that you would NEVER catch me driving a four door. Emphasis on "never'...:tired:

IMHO, I think the 4 door hardtop is the best looking formal. Ya, since I have a 4 door helps in my opinion about the formals.

The RB's and B's have about 1/2 difference in width on top. I've seen lots of 440's up close and lot's of 383's up close but that motor does not look wide enough to be a 440. I can usually tell by sight, the 440 just has the extra bit of heft and width to it. It just doesn't look wide enough to be a 440....looks EXACTLY like the the 383 in my car....but then again I'm not always perfect :th_krazy:
