That's cool! I believe they sold RHD Monacos in South Africa. I think the "Dodge Phoenix" sold in Australia used a RHD Fury dash, this one appears to be a correct Monaco (but mirror image) dash.

Another brilliant Mopar decision, lol.

Love the burnt orange inside and out! I think you should own it too!

Lots of work here, no doubt. Bad thing is the engine and trans being gone! For a small block car, you'll need the following RHD-unique bits:

1) Exhaust manifolds
2) Oil filter mount and lines - mounts atop the waterpump housing!
3) Engine mounts.
4) Linkages for trans & throttle.

I'm sure there is more.

For a big-block RHD export (I'm gonna have to put this one as a real, no-**** one-of-one!), you are in a very similar situation, except for the oil filter mount.

Note the sticker that is on all Mopars built for export, and that sticker in the door jamb says:

"Made For Export by Chrysler Corporation"

My '67 Plymouth Belvedere I wagon was sold new in Belgium, and has an aluminum tag that has the same thing on it, and is under the hood.

I ran a filter over the door jamb pic and zoomed in on it a bit. If you get your beer googles on it looks like 'manufactured for export'
There's a couple of logistical issues for me to get the car home, with the biggest one being the recent earthquake which has blocked off a large portion of the highway in coastal Kaikoura north of where the car is.
The USS Samson and the Australian Darwin warships are enroute to assist with the evacuations and clean up - so a big thanks to our allies for that effort

Edit: Also thanks to the Canadian Vancouver which is also assisting, apparently we need to be cautious around the consumption of ' moosemilk ' :)

You've had a bad run with these bloody earthquakes, hope the Australian government uses our tax dollars to lend a helping hand in rebuilding.

Does this car have the superlite and is it still on the left side of the grill ??

Yup, has the Superlite (refer Trade Me site ad description). And judging by the lone grill pic I would say yes, still in it's original LHS position.
