Well i would be very interested in this car since I am not scared of rust issues at all and can fabricate and weld any of that. Unfortunately i have two chargers and a challenger all needing restoring and the RT charger is getting its makeover as we speak. But If i did have a few thousand spare set aside separate to what i need to spend on the charger i would seriously consider travelling to see this car and if i was happy with it, putting it into storage in my garage till i could get to it. But nowadays I have become more responsible with my money and am gonna have to sit back and just look at pictures and drool.

ok guys......will post pics later, just got back from looking at the car. I need to resize before i can post and i took 70 pics (not going to post them all though).

Impression: very solid car for resto. going to need the l lwr qtr, r mid and lwr (has a dent just abt the midline), pass fender and pass door skin, trunk pan - the sides anyway - center looked good and prob needs some work on the bottom of them rr window. floors are good and so is the rest of the unibody. he has 2 very nice broadcast sheets, bottom of doors and rockers look real good, so do wheel wells. I did not pull the trigger, would probably have if the rr window area was perfect. lot of sfc rust, but nothing other than what I mentioned will need bondo, IMO.

Price is pretty much it, he will prob sell the car at $4200, maybe one can get a few hundred off, but that's it. fender tag is a 5 liner. if anyone is int i have his phone #, but you'd better act quickly.

any questions?

Being an Aussie living in North Carolina i have no idea of freight costs in this country, what do you suppose average freight would be from PA to coastal NC? Yes i am humming and harring about this car, the fingers are twitching, it is the C-body i wanted. Im gonna be going back and forth on this for awhile i know.

there is NO SUCH THING as a 69-71 C body with a good rear window channel..even low milers are rusted and leaking... heck all 68-71 mopars have window channel rust...LOL just pull the trigger and pay the man.. its a great car

www.transportreviews.com, you can get several quotes. My guess is 5-600 for a non running car

Great pictures. The buyer needs a sandblaster, a MIG welder and lots of time. But it is far from a basket case. I can imagine how spectacular that would be if it was done properly.

agreed........if I had the patience to wait a few more yrs for a ragtop, I'd have the title right now

What are you guys waiting for? How did the parts that go with it look?

Sorry, but Dodge had the 68-70 Charger and NO performance Plymouth could touch the unspoiled good looks of that car.
Agreed! In my opinion the Charger was in a league of its own, I prefer the Coronet R/Ts and the Bees over the RR & GTX and the Challanger over the Cudas...but I love them all

Thanks for taking the time and effort for posting the pics. I know what a PITA it is when there's a lot of them.
I'm enjoying following along the sale of this car. It's a mini-drama in itself.

yeah, and nobody with an avg budget can afford one........my dream car htp is a bullit charger, i'll never be able to afford anything but a basket case.

can we ONCE stick to the subject???????????why click back on the subject (for updates) if we are going way off in another direction or it will get to be nit pickin between the same members.

parts looked ok what i saw, did not totally dwell on them though. someone asked for the #, not sure if it will go anywhere. he was offered a sale but will not pull the car with the promise of a 'check in the mail', cash in hand will be the owner.

Yes Stan, the pics were a pain, but i love doing this stuff. this should give everyone an honest look at the condition. Too bad it is everything for sale but what I want, my attitude is really going into the toilet.
