I am now convinced no matter what year, a black 300 is just a bad ***.

I'm gonna paint yours black after you sell it to me. I know what you're gonna say but I'm patient and a LOT younger than you. ;)

You better smile after making that a lot younger statement.

I got a car boner.

I personally ran across 2 of these black 300's over 20 years ago and let them both get away- the black combo just takes your breath away

A great example of why I have an intense infatuation for the fuselage body style....and not only for the c's either, but b's & e's as well. However the big c's wear it better IMO.

Well thanks . . . That was somewhat helpful. . . But I still can't figure out what they want for the car. . .

Unless shipping's free it won't figure. :)

So I take it this black car started life as a dark brown color, and then transformed to an all black exterior minus vinyl top? I note the front fender wheel opening trim is missing on the photos of both, so that is what I am assuming. I like it better the way it started life, and not lowered.

I like this tan one better, but it is not for sale.

That tan 300 looks exactly like mine, i have had it now for 23 yrs now and have never seen another sandlewood beige car. Mine is a little different tho it's a 1969, has cornering lamps and the 3 stripe pinstripe just above the body crease. I have taken my car to many car shows & cruisin's with a for sale sign on it and never got much of a response, here in NW ohio if you don't have a cuda or roadrunner they don't pay much attention to it. But that is the reason why i bought it, no one else has one, and i like a big *** car. It puts a big smile on your face when you blow the doors off some of these so called muscle cars.

I have never seen another one with the color combination that ours has, either for 1969 or 1970. But to me, it is perfect. I bought mine used with 29K miles on it in 1972 from a used car lot in Birmingham, Michigan, before any rust got to it. Given the lack of response here though, I guess no one else seems to care for this color combination. But that is OK with me. To each his own. And that black is certainly very nice too IMO.

I agree, I'm not much of a B-Body fan prior to 68, the 67-69 A-Body Barracuda and the 69-73 C-Body. If I was ever to do another C-Body it would probably be a 70 Chrysler. When I first started looking for a CHP car I looked at the list of the cars used and scanned right past the early ones and when I saw the 69 the sights were locked, target acquired!

I wish i could figure out how to post pics, i can't seem to get pics from PC to website, i figured out how to email them to another email addresse but thats it. I am kinda computer ignorant i guess. The last time i attempted to install hardware myself, the PC had an early demise, i unloaded my glock into it. I did learn something from that experience tho, don't t keep the ammo with the weapon keep them separate
