The blue 1971 Monaco he got from me had a set of black bucket seats in that that were in need of redoing, and he also got another much better set from me at the same time plus the matching rear seats too. And a bunch of other parts, including a complete console setup. Wyatt is a hoarder!! I can relate. :D
I only got one set when I came to visit Steve. The set in the car. And an extra back seat. I am open to donations though
As much as I want this car it is not in the cards for me. I got the cop car fired up today and the smooth idle and exhaust note tells me I don't need another small block car.

17 variations, or something like that? How are you supposed to get them all if you don't grab them when the good deals are around? I want to see the museum!

The deals need to be more then 3 weeks apart. I have bought 5 C bodies this year and one acclaim.

You kept me up so late that night finding parts, I guess I forgot that I didn't have an extra pair of front buckets to provide. Just an extra, better back seat then. My bad. :wideyed:

I've only bought three, would have been four if the guy in Tomah didn't think rust was worth so much. In due time, I guess.

Na is not a big block car and the condition is not good enough for Germans

I actually prefer the way a 360-2 drives around town compared to a 383-2 engine, but not a 383-4 engine. The 360-2 comes with a high stall torque converter whereas the 383-2 comes with a low stall one. Thus with the 360's long stroke and good torque, it feels almost as good as a 383-4 (it has a high stall converter as well), around town at least.

I agree the Germans would want something nicer especially in terms of the seats, but like Dave said a bucket seat changeover would do wonders for that car. But the need for a new dashpad and windshield are also deterrents so I think an interested party could point out those deficiencies and get a reduced buying price.

I like that it has an original heater control valve, even if they were junk. It means the car probably hasn't been driven that much so the miles are likely original despite the crappy condition of the front seat. But it sure needs a nice washer bottle!

Tomah?? I was just fishing there!!
I bet that was a nice trip, how'd you do? Every summer when my family passes through that area on our way up to MN, we all do our best Arnold impression when we see the exit signs "It is not a Too-mah!"
So Scott, that 500 was a rust bucket?

LOL It was nice. We fished the Cranberry reservoirs. Did ok. My g-friend got a nice slabbie of a bluegill (see what I did there :p)

These light cream or beige colors were “in” after the green fad got old.
I like this car also. Reminds me of H.S. and college days. I thinkdad’s 73 Fury was this same color combo.

I was so close to pulling the trigger. It is less than an hour from where my convertible came from. I could turn around and be home in 35 hours.

I asked him to keep my number if the sale fell through, although I'm not really expecting it. I'll throw out a heads up if I hear from him though.
