That is a great story. Much better ending than what else might have typically happened to grandma's car. If those prior owners are good folk, I'd drive that car the next time (years later) I got down that way. I've done that before and the people were so happy to see their old car still looking good

Thank you, I'll follow through on your suggestion if I can. The college-age grandson who the car had been passed down to was pretty attached to it I believe...he was off somewhere working but the drill-sergeant Mom mentioned it was better that he didn't see the car drive off. So yes I would like to bring the car around to show them sometime.
