71 Monaco 2dr donor

You can't save them all.

I think you mentioned that you were planning to turn the FK5 Monaco into a Polara. Not sure if that was because you don't have any of the Monaco trim, or just because you would like another Polara. I'll throw this into the mix in case missing trim is the issue. This car is in Hidden Valley Junkyard outside Phoenix. Though it looks good in the pictures, the car is quite the rust bucket. The trunk floor and interior floors were replaced with flat sheet metal. The trim on the right side is really nice, but there are dings in many of the left side pieces. I took the pics last month, so everything is likely to still be there. It does appear that the left door is missing. And yes, the tail lights are green.

For what it's worth . . .
I see F3 green in the brochure photo. I really prefer the J4 . . . it really "pops" to me. And I agree - J4 sure does seem to shift, depending on how the light hits it. GK6 really color shifts, too.

I agree that GK6, autumn bronze metallic, also shifts a lot. Regarding the GJ4, April Green Metallic, if you look at the hood on the brochure car in the sunlight in that photo, it looks dead on for April Green, whereas the sides almost seem to be a different color when the sun it not directly on it. That is why I concluded what I did.

I think I have only seen one other GK6 ever in my life of any C body model.

It is still true.....................................

The cars with the worst bodies have the best interiors and the cars with the best bodies have the worst interiors.
Case and point right above, just like you said Steve. Great body, horrible/no interior.

I already checked. The one on the roof is dented, though I don't know if it has any holes. The one on the engine has a small hole in the usual spot, right next to the seam. I'm sure it could be repaired, but if you have to have one repaired, it would probably be much cheaper to fix the one you already have, unless it's really bad.

Took the column apart and got the ignition cylinder out of the way. Popped a battery in it and it came to life. Quick shot of starting fluid and it came to life and started running off the tank! Pulled it into the shop and it is ready to donate! No brakes made it fun!

Dead man walking. It’s like a prisoner going to the chair. Already had its last meal

Trust me...if you smelt that 4drs interior after sitting in the sun with the windows up in addition to all the rust and lack of paperwork...you would understand
Tis True. I’m glad mine smells much better and has all the paperwork

I was going back through this thread while looking for examples of the A24 trunk dress-up kit and saw that I'd missed, back in 2019, @bigmoparjeff 's post about DH23T0D121856 -- what must have been a gorgeous FY6 Monaco 500 (A75 package) with superlite back in the day.
