Love the grill on that beautiful 300. Also looks like he found dome 70-series white wall tires. 235/70r-15 WW are so hard to find up hear in Canada anyway. Even 235 75 WW are getting difficult to locate now ays when not that long ago they were so mainstream.
Had alot of RV time witch killed my Mopar time. I am still gettng use to kids before cars. I see you have been busy with some Mopar shopping...nice stuff..injoy.
ya i'm always busy with my C Bodys Rob, i even took one on our Camping trip to Montana this year my wife had to drive the car for 800mls and I was towing our 5th wheel and boat.

Is this considered a NY Brougham? I see the Brougham emblems all over the car, but the dash just says "New Yorker"
Someone mentioned that these road wheels need to have the correct domes....are they not correct? What would be the correct ones?

Absolutely gorgeous car. Beautiful colour combo. And a console shift, wow. I suppose your estimate of the production numbers are in the correct ballpark. - Do you know the history of your car? I remember a similar one having been for sale in Calgary at Kijiji in June 2014. It disappeared fast. Might be your car?

These cars didn't come with fender skirts so I am curious as to what you are referencing?

In 1971 you could order fender skirts to your Chrysler. It was one of those regrettable broughamesque features beginning to appear around then. Along with bell bottom jeans, massive sideburns, and opera windows. I don’t miss any of those.
I picked up this car in Aug of 2016 in St. ALBERT Alberta . Not sure if this was the one you mentioned. The gentlemen i purchased the car from claims he picked it up from the original owner out of southern BC years earlier.The car was sold out of Swift Current Sask from Hamm motors a popular Chrysler dealership at the time my father inlaw owns a 73 NY coupe from the same dealership. The owner I purchased the car fom told me that he and his wife took the car all over the BC interior when they lived there and later to some greet and meets in Alberta and no one he had met has seen a consol NY'er before not even the old school mechanics that worked on the car through the years. Made me curious to know roughly how manny consol coupes came of the line in 71..its all guess work for me. I have seen some(you-tube only) 300' s espically the Hurst editions with the consol but never a NY'er or any other fusie from 69 to 73. They made their share i have no doubt (like the Monaco 500s and the Plymouth Gt cars and the 300's of coarse.) Seems to be alot of slab years c-bodies out there with the floor shifter compared to the 69 to 73 years and I have never seen a c-body after 1973 with a consol. Sign of the times I suppose what ever trend the customers were feeling that is what the Chrysler Corporation put out..happy motoring.
Really? I didn't know that and I don't recall ever seeing one that way - thankfully!
I like cars that came with them - tastefully that is. The Original T-Birds, '65-6 Chryslers. But when they are added to a car... makes me want to barf.
And I've never liked the Nashes of the '50s with the skirts on all four corners. Butt Ugly in my opinion!

In my opinion from experience only and we're talking Cs only is that you find more Chryslers with consoles, then Furys, with the Polara / Monaco being the least common.

You could get buckets in an Imperial starting in '67, but no (uncomfortable) console, just the (comfortable) arm-rest/buddy-seat.
