71 T & C at Barrett Jackson

Ummm...
Where is that battery cable heading off to?

I noticed that too. My car has the same, although not red, grounding to the intake manifold. I wondered if that was the factory location. Will have to check the book.

It's the right location.

This car is an original high impact color car, FY1 Top Banana. I wanted to bid but was turned off by the condition of the car. Had some work done in the lower quarters and some rust was starting to bubble out. Had a tear in the front seat. Just stuff that nickel and dimes you. After it sold the rear window was left open and they had a big rain shower on Tuesday. The interior got pretty wet.
I heard from someone who knew the owner and he was very upset by the price the car got. He had just put some $$$ into the drivetrain before the auction. Sounded pretty good when he started it up.

That's the downside of a no reserve auction with a questionable quality vehicle. He was crazy to consign to BJ in the first place.

Rare but unfortunate color combo.
