And no one have seen this ad at the (old) drydock forum????

I replied at 6 hrs of the car having gone on CL
I got a reply one day later asking if I received the requested pics, nothing sent, hmmm.
Then a few hours later I get an email saying a deposit was left and will let you know if it falls thru. Not my favorite color choice, but the RIGHT options
The car was sold prior to being posted here.

:BangHead:

Look what happened to me and that Monaco wagon. I told the girl I wanted it. She was at the airport and would get back to me . An hour later she said someone paypaled the money....WTF ? Always be aggressive. It worked out for me as I really didn't need it and now am glad but I learned a lesson

I learned my lesson recently on that ‘57 Imp. On a Friday before going out of town he told me what he’d take for it and I should’ve sealed the deal at that moment but I didn’t, I said just call me when you get back. Monday morning I’m chomping at the bit and he calls me to tell me he had 2 offers at his full asking which was still a sweet deal just not one I could do at the moment so I turned Murray loose on it.
Different but the same....

That's what I'm sayin'

I lost a 62 300 convertible after making a gentlesmans agreement on the phone. He sold it, (to a member here who had no knowledge of our agreement), for $100.00 over our agreed price of $7900.00 that same evening before I could send the deposit he wanted by PP.

I have no idea how these after deal deals get made. I'm certain my deal went bad by the buyer begging as he couldn't deal with me getting it , but what was her thought processes? How could someone make a deal on the same item twice?
