72 New Yorker very solid and very straight. Lots of good parts here!
I just joined here to try to get these parts to yall that need them. The car has no title. The block is cracked. I got it just for the engine brackets and have something to rob screws and bolts from. It was actually the 350hp engine 727 and 8 3/4.
Parts starting at 20 bucks

Wanted to add I need black interior pieces for my 80 model truck. Door panels, dash, and glove box lid. Would definitely do some trading.

Missing titles for most states are easily obtained. Yes it's some time & paperwork but it can be done (I've done it twice). Just sayin.....

This is not a car I plan to put back on the road. Wouldn't be hard because it's been a running car most it's life. If someone else wanted to that would be fine by me. I have another block and edelbrock intake could go with the car

1. can you please post photos of the exterior mirrors, showing in what condition they are? Does the remote mechanism work on the driver's side?

2. could you please post the fender tag, so that we can see what options the car came with and thereby can figure out if some parts would be of interest?

There mirrors are bubbly. And glass gone on passenger. Remote switch works smooth

I think regular a/c. Don't see anything different about the dash switch so I don't know any better

Thanks a lot for adding the fender tag photo for CH41T2C121876 -- I see H51 coded so regular (manual) A/C. The radio is the R13 Deluxe AM Radio (5 1/2 Watts).

PS: I'll pass on the mirrors as I would prefer to avoid bubbles.

The passenger side is not bubbled but no glass.

Can you tell the rear end ratio by the tag. I'm not good at reading them and couldn't figure it out for this one

You cannot tell the rear end ratio by the fender tag

Through your state of residence. In NC it's a pain but it can be done.

The only way you can do it in Virginia is with a bonded title, where you pay the aquisition cost as bond. This doubles the cost of the vehicle.

Arkansas is going to value that car at about $12,000 and the bond fee is going to be about $200.

Nope, they arrive at a most likely good condition value of $12000 and the bond fee amount to get the title will be about $200. No questions asked.
If a valid ownership claim on the car is made within 3 years, the claimer gets the $12000, you keep the car.
If you have a bill of sale and $200 you get your title in about 3 weeks "if" the numbers on the car check clean when the state police drop by with their mobile computer to have a look and print out your "it's not stolen good to go paper" that you mail into the big office with the bill of sale. The big office then sends you a "go get your $12000 bond" from any insurance place letter, you take all that to the tag/title place. Presto good to go, tag in hand, title in the mail.
Nice system actually. This 72 is now in use, bonded. Purchased last year.
