This sunroof NYB is CS23T2C290256 -- back for sale? @marko @boostedvan @saforwardlook @sdweatherman

From the ad: "(...) optioned as good as they come. Love this beast but have too many things. 440, posi, huge factory moon roof, fully loaded, very black. (...) Lots of work done to it over the past few years, have bills totalling 13k+ of general stuff. Sounds incredible too, put proper mopar rectangular tips for the right note. After sitting all this last year in the garage, the carb needs a clean or tune. Noticed when I drove it about a week ago. Shows very well, gets many smiles and thumbs ups but certainly has a few blemishes, drivers front corner has a small dent on tip of fender, some stable, minor bubbling under vinyl top lowers that has not changed in years, good interior with minor easy fix to headliner in rear corner on a seam and light switch panel is a bit loose. Enjoy as is while you do the minor tinkering. Car is located in Vancouver where it has been just about all its life. Had it listed previously and removed ad because I was too busy to sell it."

my concern with this car is the roof.
the vinyl top isnt the original material and you see bubbling under the vinyl..... makes me think it had rust there before, ( usually why you replace a vinyl top) was sort of repaired and the vinyl top was replaced but now the rust has returned ?

I just read through the site history on the car. Apparently I found it frustrating the first time around. That has not changed. The car has been repaired some. But now the paint has been patched back again and the bubbling under the window under a replacement top is bad. That tells that the rust was never cut out in the first place. Considering the missing trim I think this car is full of filler on top of rust.
Would take a ton of work to make this car as good as it looks at 20 feet. It is still tempting though.

This car is bad to the bone.

Rust bubbles. Wrong exhaust tips.

You guys don't miss a thing. But this car is truly something spectacular and nothing a C body guy couldn't fix up and make right.

My excuse is that I don't care for 2dr. Fusies. Now a 2dr. 66 or 67 then we can talk.

im wondering if this car had the sunroof added later which would explain the different grain of vinyl top. ive seen cars that this has been done to.

this car doesnt have the M51 code on the body tag for a sunroof.

years ago there was a shop in Vancouver that was an agent for ASC ( who did the sunroofs for all the big 3) and i saw 2 cars that they had installed sunroofs in - a GM product and a 75 chrysler.
i even spoke with them in the 90s about installing a sunroof in a Riviera but it was way beyond my budget. they assured me it would look factory.
