I would contact him early if you want it... try to work out going to see it... after he gets frustrated waiting for someone to make a fair offer he may talk to you at 4k... right now I dont know if he has a clue how hard that sale is going to be. But I take the word "firm" to mean "firm"... I'm a bad negotiator...

This car was advertised for a while at $4900. Then all the photos disappeared, but the ad remained. The surroundings are different now, (in both ads) so I suspect it did change hands.

I go to Toledo quite often because that's where my wife is from. In fact, that's how I ended with the T-top Magnum (for way less than half that price). The problem with all the little BS stuff is that the car has to be towed, unless you want to drive home with a gas can under the hood and bad brakes. And God knows what kind of trash pumping through the trans. My Magnum was turn-key, with the exception of the in/op wipers. Paid the man, jumped in and drove 80 miles back home. Here I've got a helluva towing bill, even if I just took it to her old house in Toledo.

All that said, if it's still around on my next visit I might look. These are the best pics yet, and with a light tint on the glass the colors wouldn't bother me at all.

I'm helping my buddy sell his car. Mmm. The owner seems quite capable of listing the car himself on Craigslist so how exactly are you helping? Got to be careful here. Found two cars last week offered for sale in San Jose. Only thing is I recognized the pictures from over a year ago out of another web site. The pictures were lifted verbatim with a price stuck on them. Those two were never anywhere near California. Hit prohibited and they disappeared.

Not enough Martini's in the world will help make me love that olive drab color,LOL!
I like browns and greens but when mixed together...yuk. LOL
