Its so weird that you cant find these its a bread and butter itemCheck other threads on this subject in here for the link to Power Booster Exchange, which used to he "Booster Dewey" before he retired a few years ago. The absolutely BEST option. Just because some big-box re-sellers sell the Leeds booster does not mean it is a good option! Similar with Cardone.

its just a statement , I've been to this rodeo countless times before i can pretty much find any Gm part from the last 60 years and pretty much most C body stuff its just strange a simple booster is an issue, i found one for my 68 300 last spring with zero issues . i picked up an original owner 52 Buick Sunday and every part was available! My first classic car back in the 70s was a 55 special original owner and just a simpler time. So that being said, im willing to part with them just to simplify my life. im old! Plus, getting something rebuilt by a quality rebuilder can be better than any item "knocked-off" by some other business. Not "repro", but knocked off.
Great info and of course owning a cbody is like no other experience, when i go to shows there's much more interest in my C bodies than all the Chevelle's and Camaros put together , someone will always say my uncle had one growing up! So im destined to save any C bodies i find; like the last 2 i saved last week, and we all like being different then the followers!!!!!!!! I just get cranky when i cant fit a b body part with a C body , but i guess that's the uniqueness in the cars that we own thanks for the comments!The big difference in the older Buick parts and Chrysler parts is that the Buick vintage parts people have usually been in business since at least the middle 1970s. Unless a "Chrysler" part also fits a much more popular B or E-body car, it has a much greater chance of not sitting on some repro/NOS vendor's shelf, even back into the earlier 1980s.
The "Chrysler" part of things did not get popular until more recent times. As some of the larger NOS vendors have now changed ownership, they have expanded into the C-body realm of things as people who could not or did not desire to pay the price for a B-body or E-body car gravitated to the less expensive C-body cars.
I have a good friend whose business is restoring Buicks and other cars, but mainly Buicks. I also know that he uses a regional old-car salvage yard for a good bit of his parts, which he then refurbishes for his customers' cars. He knows what is available, what interchanges, and where to get them.
The "Chrysler vintage parts network" is different than for similar GM or Ford vehicles. You are not the first person to say, in this forum, "I've looked everywhere and nobody has this part . . ." as they conceptually holler "Calf Rope!!" As if going to a chain auto supply and expecting it to be on the shelf, it seems. Then, when the question is posed in here, suddenly sources appear out of seemingly "thin air". Respectively, "cycle repeat".
You might also remember "Hemmings Motor News" from earlier times? The ONE car hobby place where everybody advertised? In the 1970s, that was "the Bible" for where to find parts for any older vehicle. In many cases, the Internet is not nearly as productive in parts searches, which can depend upon how the items in the "Search" box are configured and sequenced (which can be an art in itself). BTAIM

thanks ill use an aftermarket for now and send in out , im also rebuilding the calipers for the 68 300 if someone is interestedI would choose to have your brake booster rebuilt. My personal choice of rebuilder would be Booster Dewey. There quality is very good and would give you the expected brake performance you need.
