For Sale 73 Imp CL

The owner of the green Imp is in his 80's and not getting around too good anymore. I'm almost ready to tell him that I'll wait for the estate sale but I don't want to possibly hurt his feelings...he's the original owner and has taken great care of this car.
Bob, you have done all that you can do.
There are people that wouldn't think twice about brow beating him into selling.
If and when you finally land that beauty, then you can rightfully be proud owning that car. And I hope you do get the car. I sense that it will be offered to you at some point.

I've been waiting patiently for years for an unknown to the rest of the Mopar world a 1 of 55 car. Out of the blue he wrote me yesterday. He hasn't forgotten me. :)

Let's hope you don't have to give one of the "if only" answers..........

I'm out, I buy a house on Friday.

I'm prepared for this one should the time come where he says Come get it.
The Newport and NYB will go in a fire sale and I have the finances in place.
My due diligence has been done.

Can you tell us any more about this mystery car w/o revealing too much?

No. He warned me not to tell anybody bout it.
It's an unaccounted for car and he wants to keep it that way.
I have to respect that.

My perspective is that C-Bodies were designed as 4 door cars. For some reason....a coupe just doesn't look right with a single gigantic door. I personally think the Mopar 4 door hardtops are the best looking cars on the planet.

As much as I love 4 door C-bodies - hardtops, not sedans - I will never be able to shake the affliction I have for the 72 Imperial 2 door. I have a longer, deeper, love for my 71 and 74 Charger addiction - but if it came right down to it, life or death situation, I'd be buried in my IMP. There's not a finer casket out there!!

Of course you used an example with wheels and tires that piss me off. Lmao.

Okay! Okay! Its just Photoshop! BUT, as much as we may disagree, I think adding those tires and rims really give it a crisp, sexy EDGE. Like lingerie on a Victoria's Secret model; sure - they are hot naked, but add that lingerie and *BOOM* - sexy!

Now THAT is cool.....gotta ditch the R/T badge though. Otherwise shhweeet! I wouldn't turn down a 4dr car either (had one in fact) but for ME the coup is awesome.

I remember the pics of it next to a smart car or some other ridiculous roller skate.
