I know this has been discussed here before but I need my memory refreshed. What is the proper way of removing a headrest from a 1973 chrysler newport bench seat? I pull it to a high point then it locks. Any help would be appreciated.

If it works anything like the '69-'70, pull straight up with a constant force in order to get it past the lock. I have had to put it all the way in the down position and pull up several times before it would let go.
