74 imp rear disks on 72 fury?

My thoughts exactly, but not nearly as colorfully put.

Leave the damn factory drum brakes on the rear (fully rebuilt, of course).
Why people want to make a camel out of a horse is beyond me.

FYI, when I was (drag) racing, I had no problems stopping with the 73 front disk brakes and 11x2.5 rear drums. This was when the car was heaviest, around 4350 lbs (with me driving). One thing I like about drum brakes is that they do not drag as much as disk brakes do (factory stuff). But Front disk with the large rotors made a huge difference over front drums (and they were 11x3 on the front).
