Sold at Auction in '78 after that, I don't know and neither does my Neighbor, he prepped them to go to auction and put in the order for the '78 Fury's.

Yep, my provincial cops had some cool Mopars '63 Fury 2 door sedans, '66 Polara's with 426 Street Wedge's (My neighbor ordered 4, and each car came with a spare motor in a crate)

There is a fellow on the Drydock that worked for the California Highway Patrol as a mechanic in the sixties and seventies. He has told some excellent stories

That would of been cool to score one of those crate motors if any were left over after they moved on to newer cars.

When he retired in 1999 they still had 3 in the crates, and they used the other in one of the cars when it blew the engine while in High Speed pursuit.

I assume you guys are talking about Kraut on the Drydock. His stories could form the basis of a really good movie script. I remember the one about 150 mph in a 440 pursuit car clocked with a helicopter.
