Needs some work, but I love it! Wish I could hit that "buy it now button". Thought you would get a kick out of it to Nick.

This is an original Black and White 76 California Highway Patrol Dodge Coronet. It looks like unit # 4493 in the door jam. The block is stamped
6T440 E HP It runs and drives but needs total restoration. The
brakes are poor. Total miles are unknown, shows 26,878
so add 100K or more that. The motor has good oil pressure
but smokes.

The body has some rust bubbling and thru in the 1/4s, wheel
arches, and the floor pans have holes. The frame is solid and
overall it's a very good California Car. Pics show dents and
scrapes mostly on the passenger side. The hood release is broken
and I have not figured out how the rear doors open. The front
doors have some weakness in the hinges, or area.

It is missing the deck lid trim, and lock cyl and has been
damaged as shown. The Vacuum release and latch still work.
It is missing the smog stuff, ac components, and ? whatever
else is not shown. It is also missing 1 muffler.

Needs a lot of work indeed. This is one I'd love to take on, and restore to its former glory. My first mopar was a '75 coronet. Had to bail on it before she was almost road worthy due to rust issues though.. God I miss that car.

Was a factory 400HP car. That car would fly the few times I drove it.

Zac, that is nice. The white CH car had to be in the mountains and subjected to snow. Cali cars normally doesn't rust like that.

Yea she does seem to have spent time outside of cali with all that rust. Atleast it seems to not be "to" far gone rust wise. Trunk pan looks pretty clean. The trunk lids always seem to rot out on these models. Whens the next powerball?? haha

If anybody's interested in that car, the owner is a member over at Moparts.

One of the most nondescript designs when it comes to cars of that era IMHO

I see a certain beauty in its non-descriptness.
That's not an English word. I made it up to suit the description.

I agree, the 75 was one of the more flattering noses on the "low tail light" B Body Coronets/ Monacos. I'd much rather have a 75 U code pursuit than a 78.

no 75-78 b-bodies for me.

Thought they were all wrecked in

Yes, as I recall anything older than "the musle car era" is garbage to you....

no, you must mean another guy. I love american classic 57&up. Just look at 57-60 Exner Mopars in example. The best looking Mopars til the late 60s for me

I think Mr. C meant anything newer than (as in "after") "the musle car era" is garbage to you....

Ok, I have to agree after 74 there are not too many cars I really like. Some of those are the Royal Monacos and Gran Furys till 1978 i.e.
