When I had it, it had road wheels, no scoops, no tach, no bling, no emblems, no anything.. I can picture a lot of half dismantled cars as less determined individuals try. I would have liked her better with Road Wheels and a sleeper look, but thats just my taste. Now that its been done... back to preserving the character of these cars, please.
A black one. Just can't decide if it should be a 2 or 4 door...Bite your tongue...
I wanted to go Tremec because as a top loader no tunnel hump would be needed, just a hole. But the $$$$$... OMGIf I ever get a formal this car gives me inspiration except I'm going 5 speed for some long legs.

It looked bone stock.Even the exhaust was stock. It was not a flucked up hack job.
The only thing that messed up people's minds was when they saw the Hurst shifter and the third pedal.
It was simply a NYB with a 440 built to 1969 TNT specs and a A833 transmission with a 3.55 open rear. As god would have wanted it. So I did it as A Mission From God.
It was something that I had wanted to do since the 70's. A full sized car with a big v8 and four speed and be as close to possible to if the factory did it. Just like the 60's.
This is NOT going to help us get along...A black one. Just can't decide if it should be a 2 or 4 door...
If you really want another project... you have more going on than some shops I know of... The Miami car is down to a grand OBO... you might get it for the 440 build core value soon, which is all she seems to be worth. Its something your friends in Florida would love to help you with... It will be needing an antenna when you get it though. Fumbuck County really comes to life in the third week of March if you want a good party. You will find more than just wintering Canadians who cant find the beach that weekend. If I ever get a formal this car gives me inspiration except I'm going 5 speed for some long legs.
That sounds great... except the St Regis part... but I could deal with it. What year is it?I just found a white on white on white St Regis that might be a good candidate but I would just run it at first, have to get some of these other projects kicked further along.
That one has been done to death. Pick another...I just found a white on white on white St Regis that might be a good candidate
Two things will be said at Stans Funeral.
1. The Embalmer did a great Job.
2. I cant believe he put a 4speed in a NYer
