All I could find was this one line quote from Allpar:

The A38 Pursuit package cars all got heavy duty engine upgrades, with the E58 being the top Pursuit class engine.​

so, I guess some Mopar Cop Car Forum would know. I don't.

80' Fury Pursuit

I once owned a 79 Dodge Magnum GT with the "Premium 360 Engine" It was a a Police Package car with beefier suspension etc. It also has the 727 non lock up torque converter. When I was going to Technical School in 1982 my friend had a 79 Volare "Super Coupe" with the same engine etc. In between classes one time we went to a Bar and raced each other. My car easily beat the car I then called the "Chicken Coupe". To this day another friend owns one and it was given the same nick name.
Years ago I remember our County Sheriff having the St Regis version of the Fury.
